• ABCP supports AHRC-funded SEED Fellowship on UK-China Creative Industries R&I Hub

  The Association is pleased to announce that Professor Hua Dong (董华教授), Co-Chair of the ABCP AIG (Academic Interest Group) on Creative Industries and Head of Brunel Design School at the Brunel University London, has successfully secured fellowship funding for an ambitious project, the SEED Fellowship. The funding to the value of £169,571, awarded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), represents a major milestone in advancing research and innovation in the UK-China creative industries. • ABCP 2023 Chinese New Year gatherings and gala held on Friday 20 January

  21 January 2023
  For the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic, the ABCP organised a number of face-to-face gatherings at multiple sites across the UK (London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast, Bristol, and Canterbury), for celebrating the 2023 Chinese New Year (CNY). An hybrid CNY gala was also organised with both physical attendance from all the above sites and also online attendance for those who could not attend a physical gathering. The event was organised by the Standing Management Committee and regional coordinators of the ABCP, with help from many members and friends.
