Professor Daqin Ma, Imperial College London & Zhejiang University
Professor Ma, a recent awardee of the “World Outstanding Chinese Doctor Fok Ying Tung Award”, is an internationally recognised pioneer in organoprotection. Starting his career as a medical doctor in China, he has built a distinguished academic profile, leading discoveries on how general anaesthetics used in cancer surgery affect patient outcomes and developing strategies now used worldwide to prevent and treat postoperative delirium.
