Healthcare technologies workshop and ABCP Chinese New Year event for Scotland

Introduction

This workshop aims to provide inspiration and support, especially for early career researchers to grow collaborative and impactful projects in healthcare.
Participation is free and we are inviting applications for flash talks from ECR (can be indicated in the registration form).

Organisers

Summary

The workshop and the social networking had more than 70 attendees. The event features an inspiring plenary talk by Professor Catherine Calderwood (former Chief Medical Officer for Scotland) on health inequality and realistic medicine, as well as insights on grant and ERC fellowship applications from Professor Nikolaj Gadegaard and Dr Julie Williamson. The selected flash talks covered topics ranging from AI to biomedical engineering and chronic diseases. Many new contacts across different universities and disciplines were established.
