Chinese New Year celebration event: Northern Ireland

Introduction

Regional coordinators of the ABCP Northern Ireland are organising an Academic Salon and Celebration Event for celebrating the 2024 Chinese New Year.

The event will be held on 17^th February 2024 Saturday 5-9pm, at Ternary Chinese Restaurant (三元里), 75 Donegall Pass, Belfast BT7 1DR.

We welcome all ABCP members, their families, as well as non-ABCP academics and their families to join us. Especially, early career researchers are encouraged and welcomed to join us.

   1. “Mechanistic and therapeutic study of macular fibrosis”, Professor Mei Chen, Queen’s University Belfast
   2. “Computational biology and digital health”, Professor Huiru Zheng, Ulster University
   3. “Differentiating AI research in QUB”, Professor Hui Wang, Queen’s University Belfast
2. Games, such as Chinese riddles, with small prizes.
3. Dinner (expense to be shared, estimated £20-£25 per head)
