Invitation to the ABCP Mentoring Scheme – 2nd Round
We are pleased to launch the second round of Mentoring Schemes open to all ABCP formal and associated members.
The mentoring experience will be mutually rewarding, allowing colleagues to share knowledge and skills with others. See some comments here from the participants from the 1st round scheme.
The 2nd round scheme will remain one-to-one pairing. Each mentoring pair will agree on the frequency of meetings and time spent, but we typically recommend one meeting per quarter as a guide.
The 2nd round scheme will include new features as follows:

It lasts for one year

Workshops on grant applications and career development

Regional physical meetings
We are pleased to have Professor Christina Hughes as our External Adviser to co-develop these programs. Professor Hughes will bring a wealth of experience in executive leadership in leading Universities (she was Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Interim) Kent; Provost, Sheffield Hallam; Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Warwick) and coaching expertise ( as Founder and CEO of Women-Space.
