Abstract
In the first part of the presentation, Susie will set out the Government’s plans and commitments to international research and innovation as part of its ambitions for the UK to be a science and technology superpower. Dr David Mossley will then explain how they will help researchers and academic institutions in order to deliver the Government’s commitment to safe and secure collaborative research through the establishment of the Research Collaboration Advice Team (RCAT). The RCAT will provide advice to research institutions to help them identify any threats and risks in their international research portfolios, develop mitigations, and take steps to keep all their researchers and their work free from hostile interference, theft or misuse.
