Chinese New Year celebration event: Midlands

Introduction
Members of the ABCP Midlands Area, together with the Association of Chinese Scholars at the University of Birmingham, are organising an in-person celebration event for the 2024 Chinese New Year (CNY). The event will be on 24th February 2024 Saturday 2-6pm, at Moor pool hall (37 The Circle, Harborne, Birmingham B17 9DY). We have finished the registration and totally got 116 academics and family members.
This event is partly funded by ABCP, the Association of Chinese Scholars at the University of Birmingham, and Beijing Institute of Collaborative Innovation (BICI). There will be some performances, and also games for kids on site. A Chinese buffet dinner has been arranged. Soft drinks will be provided. A charge between £10-£15 is expected for each participant.
